Direct delivery
I can support your organisation to involve children and young people, by working directly with children and young people.
I will support them to share their views, identify solutions, create actions and support them to feed this back to you. The results will help you to understand their needs and enable you to deliver effective services.
My offer includes setting up a forum, conference or social action project, however there are numerous options for how youth engagement can be achieved, so please contact me to discuss.
Consultancy
I can audit your existing processes, advise your organisation on new or revised participation strategy, and the role of young people in service development and delivery.
I will provide guidance on collaboration and coproduction with young people, managing youth volunteers and working in a trauma informed way. Additionally I can support your organisation with the NYA quality charter mark.
I can offer solutions to built in participation, which ensures youth voice is a long term, embedded part of what you do.
Training
I can provide in-person (within my location) or online training to your existing youth group, or to new youth groups, on mentoring, representation skills and scrutiny.
I will provide the training resources and handouts, and would require a member of staff from the organisation to be present.
Alternatively I can work with staff on building a participative culture, engaging young people, and running an effective youth voice forum or peer to peer education. Training can be adapted to your needs, just get in touch on the email below to talk through your needs.
